2025 VERTICAL SUMMER TRIPS DATES

Sun-Wed July 27-30 
VERTICAL TRIP #3: SERVE WEEK
(overnight stay @ CMC, Sun-Tue)

**you MUST confirm with each day's work since there are only 14 seats in the van

Sunday July 27
Meal after church in CMC
​1-4pm SERVE #1 (local, outdoors, hot, dirty)
6pm  CMC Doors Open 
7-10pm Underground Church (outdoor)
10pm Doors Close
(participants STAY overnight or return home)

Monday, July 28
9am Departure to SERVE#2 (indoor, hot)
8pm. Doors Open at CMC
9pm.  VERTICAL worship
11pm Doors Close
(participants STAY overnight or return home)

Tuesday July 29
9am Departure to SERVE#3 (indoor, hot)
8pm. Doors Open at CMC
9pm.  VERTICAL worship
11pm Doors Close
(participants STAY overnight or return home)

Wednesday July 30
9am Departure to SERVE#4 (indoor, hot)
5pm. Doors Open at CMC
6-8pm.  Summer VERTICAL
9pm Doors Close
(participants leave)

Meals:
Our ministry will provide food for all meals.
(as with all VERTICAL trips, students will make your own breakfast and pack their lunch each day and we will ALL work together to make a meal together most nights.)

.> What to pack
Regular clothing: Shorts/shirt 
Work clothing:  Sneakers instead of slides, etc
Shower supplies

> Backpack with...
- Sunglasses 
- Back up Battery/recharger
- Snacks for the road (you can pick some up from the CMC until noon)
- $ if you need to get something when we stop for gas 

> Bedding
(we have air mattresses at the church)
-A Pillow
- Sleeping Bag or blankets

Remember our boundaries:
- no short shorts, skirts or shirts
- no inappropriate logos or icons
- bathing suits: straps, not strings  in case we find a pool!
- bring at least one pair of closed toed shoes/socks for serving (sneakers, not crocs)
- shower supplies, etc
- boys, bring an air mattress or get one at church (cause...you know)

You CAN bring spending $ for the trip for extra snacks or “touristy” items as we will stop at interesting places.
