Our Summer Ministry Schedule (May 27- July 29)

10am Sundays.  VERTICAL SUNDAYS (cmc)

6-8pm Wednesdays**.  Summer Vertical (full use of gym and cafe)
**no Vertical Sundays on SERVE 1/2 trips or  Passion Camp week

SERVE Trip 1
Sunday PM June 21-Friday Am June 26

Our students volunteer with LCBC church
(Lives Changed By Christ    an evangelical church that shares the gospel across 30 different locations)
as they prepare their facilities for their summer outreach weekend services series: Summer at the Movies.
We spend our day helping this church (or one of its many locations) transform their lobby in order to introduce un-churched people to Jesus.

Our Schedule
Sunday June 21
5pm Doors Open  6pm Van departs
Monday, June 22
Noon Arrival in York PA (Lunch)   Afternoon: Volunteer at LCBC (www.lcbcchurch.com )
6:30pm Worship at LCBC (www.lcbcchurch.com)   8pm Housing Check in (York, PA)
Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday
Volunteer with LCBC all day (morning/afternoon);    Evening rest and activities
Thursday June 25
Depart York, PA 
Friday June 26:
Afternoon: Arrival in Wildwood, FL
**teens must pack appropriate outfits for volunteering at a church each day
(regular size/length shorts, appropriate full length t-shirts, sneakers/closed toed shoes)

Passion Camp (Daytona Beach) $100 
Monday, July 13-Friday July 16

SERVE Trip 2 (Alabama) $100
Sunday PM July 19 - Friday Am July 24

Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday: SERVE days
6pm Thursday Depart Delaware.    Noon Friday: Arrival in Wildwood

Meals:
Our ministry will provide food for all meals.
(as with all VERTICAL trips, students will make your own breakfast and pack their lunch each day and we will ALL work together to make a meal together most nights.)

.> What to pack
Regular clothing: Shorts/shirt for volunteering at churches, ministries
Work clothing:  Sneakers instead of slides, etc
Shower supplies

> Backpack with...
- Sunglasses (lights on the road overnight)
- Back up Battery/recharger
- Snacks for the road (you can pick some up from the CMC until noon)
- $ if you need to get something when we stop for gas 

> Bedding
(we have air mattresses at the church)
-A Pillow
- Sleeping Bag or blankets

Remember our boundaries:
- no short shorts, skirts or shirts
- no inappropriate logos or icons
- bathing suits: straps, not strings  in case we find a pool!
- bring at least one pair of closed toed shoes/socks for serving (sneakers, not crocs)
- shower supplies, etc
- boys, bring an air mattress or get one at church (cause...you know)

You CAN bring spending $ for the trip for extra snacks or “touristy” items as we will stop at interesting places.
